Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) and Seafarers Bridge – Melbourne

From stones to tactiles to pavers, Eigen does it all, and they do it well. Once again highlighting their professionalism, managerial capability and ability to work to a deadline, the Eigen Group has completed works on both the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), as well as on Seafarers Bridge, both iconic landmarks in South Wharf.

Dubbed ‘Australia’s most versatile convention and exhibition facility’, the MCEC is award-winning in architectural design and the first ‘6 Star Green Star’ environmentally rated convention centre in the world. Connecting the world-class Convention Centre to the Docklands is the Seafarers Bridge, a striking pedestrian bridge popular with walkers and bike riders. Eigen feels privileged to have been a part of a project which enhances the aesthetic qualities of this developing area and which helps increase the mobility of the vision-impaired.
